What is the TTS Venture charge on my credit card?
Facts checked
Short answer
TTS Venture is a Chicago-area company that runs two online brands: Here For Women, which sells teeth whitening strips and a skin balm on a repeat-order plan, and Twice The Speed, which sells speed training for young athletes and "free" resistance bands with paid shipping. The charge is usually an order from one of them, or a repeat charge that followed it.
How it shows up on your statement
- TTS VENTURE
Banks trim and reformat these, so yours may be shorter or carry a different city or number. Why charge names look strange.
Who is TTS Venture?
The Better Business Bureau lists TTS Venture as another name for TTS, a Chicago business incorporated in 2014 whose president is Jack Cascio. The BBB profile links to twicethespeed.com and gives the phone number (800) 530-3430. A separate online store, Here For Women, says in its own terms that it is "operated by TTS Venture", uses the same phone number, and sends returns to TTS Venture in Morton Grove, Illinois.
So TTS Venture is the name your bank sees, while you probably knew the shop as one of its brands:
- Here For Women (hereforwomen.com) sells teeth whitening strips and a calcium skin balm, both $19.99 when we checked, with a Subscribe & Save option that charges the same price every 30 days.
- Twice The Speed sells speed training for young athletes, including a 30-day program at $67, and "free" resistance bands where you pay shipping and handling.
Other TTS Venture businesses turn up in search, including a company in India and a Texas investor. They aren't this merchant.
Why is TTS Venture on my card statement?
Because you, or someone using your card, ordered from Here For Women or Twice The Speed, often from a social media ad. The confusing part is usually the second charge, or the one a month later.
- Subscribe & Save. Here For Women's terms say that starting 30 days after your first order, you're charged the same price again every 30 days until you cancel.
- An extra charge at checkout. A BBB complaint from August 2026 describes a whitening strip order that posted as $24.94 plus a separate $30.00, then an attempted $29.99 charge for what looked like a recurring membership the buyer says they never agreed to.
- A trial that became a monthly fee. A 2025 BBB complaint describes a product offered free with a monthly service fee after the trial: $47.00 up front, then $19.95 a month.
- Shipping and handling on Twice The Speed's "free" resistance bands.
How to cancel TTS Venture charges or get a refund
Email is the documented route for both brands. Cancel in writing and keep every reply.
- Here For Women: use the cancellation form linked from hereforwomen.com/pages/cancel-domain-com and write "Cancel My Membership" in the message box, then email info@hereforwomen.com as well. Phone support is (800) 530-3430, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Eastern.
- Twice The Speed: email info@twicethespeed.com to cancel a subscription or trial, or to ask whether one is active. Its FAQ says a support rep replies within a few hours.
- For a refund on a Here For Women order, email info@hereforwomen.com within 30 days of receiving the item. Its policy says approved refunds go back to your card within 10 business days, and to email again if 15 business days pass.
Here For Women's terms say a cancelled subscription runs to the end of the current billing period and then stops. One BBB reviewer said Twice The Speed's phone line only played a message telling callers to email, so don't rely on the phone.
What if you never bought anything from TTS Venture?
Check both brands. Most people know the shop name, not the company name.
- Search email for Here For Women, hereforwomen, Twice The Speed, resistance bands and teeth whitening.
- Ask the household. A parent may have ordered training for a young athlete, or someone may have bought whitening strips from a Facebook, Instagram or TikTok ad.
- Look for a smaller order a few days earlier, or 30 days earlier. Repeat charges land on that cycle.
- If nothing matches, call your card issuer, report the charge as unauthorized and get a new card number. You can also report it to the BBB and at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
The BBB rates the business F, citing its failure to respond to complaints. We found no action against TTS Venture by the FTC, a state attorney general or a court.
Still don’t recognize it? Dispute it with your bank
- Open the transaction in your banking app. The detail view often shows a longer merchant name, a phone number or a city that the statement line cuts off.
- Ask the merchant for a refund first. It is usually faster than a dispute, and your card issuer may ask whether you tried.
- If the merchant says no, or you think your card number was stolen, call the number on the back of your card. Ask them to dispute the charge and, if it is fraud, to cancel the card and send a new one.
- For a credit card, follow up in writing. The FTC says your letter should reach the issuer within 60 days after the first bill with the error was sent to you, at the billing inquiries address rather than the payments address.
Federal law caps what you owe for unauthorized credit card charges at $50. Debit cards work differently: if only your card number was used, you owe nothing as long as you report it within 60 days after the statement is sent, but the money is gone from your account while the bank looks into it. See the FTC's guide to lost or stolen cards. A successful dispute becomes a chargeback against the merchant.
